Frequently Asked Questions
Do these seeds work on both Java and Bedrock?
Since version 1.18, Minecraft features Terrain Parity. This means the layout of biomes, mountains, and rivers will be nearly identical on both versions for the same seed. However, structure placement (Villages, Strongholds, Ancient Cities) may vary slightly between editions. We have labeled our curated database to indicate which edition the coordinates were verified on.
How do I use a seed?
1. Copy the seed code (numeric string) from this tool.
2. Open Minecraft and select "Create New World".
3. Look for the "Seed" field in the world options (under "Advanced" in Bedrock or "World" in Java).
4. Paste the code and create the world.
What is the "Entropy Level"?
The Entropy Level slider in our generator controls the algorithm's complexity visualization. While all seeds generated are mathematically random valid 64-bit integers, this visualizer represents the potential "chaos" of the generation logic, simulating how the game weighs biome placement noise.
Are these seeds compatible with 1.26+?
Yes. The curated database focuses on seeds tested for The Copper Age and Mounts of Mayhem updates. As we approach version 1.26.1 (scheduled for March 2026), we verify that these seeds generate correctly with the new biome weights.
Upcoming Version Intel
Version 1.26.1 (The "Cutest" Drop): Scheduled for March 2026. This update is expected to focus on new baby mob variants and aesthetic world generation tweaks.
Recent Drops:
- Mounts of Mayhem (Dec 2025): Introduced Nautilus mounts, spears, and deeper ocean trenches.
- The Copper Age (Sept 2025): Added Copper Golems, oxidized structures, and new redstone components.
Seed Parity
Since version 1.18+, terrain generation is nearly identical between Java and Bedrock editions. However, structure placement (Villages, Strongholds) may still vary slightly. Coordinates listed in the database are verified for the edition specified.
